Minutes of Committee Meeting July 2025

  2. Review and Approve Minutes of Last Meeting

  3. Matters/Actions Arising:
    • Cycling UK: Submission submitted
  4. Officer's Reports:
    1. Chair: Nothing to report
    2. Secretary/IT Officer:
      • Newsletter to include: member audit, BBQ, Club Member of the Year
      • Member audit: will be sending out a message on all platforms to ask for confirmation of Cycling UK membership. Prior to the next committee meeting, we will look to have removed anyone who is not a member.
    3. Treasurer: Balances: £211.22 + £2,204.85. Need to chase £200 from Cycling UK following submission.
    4. Social Secretary: BBQ is on Friday 25th July 18:30. Mike to finally confirm, then the newsletter will be sent. Boules - unfortunately, ran out of time.
    5. Runs Secretary: Starting to collate next quarter's runs list. Will remind coordinators later this week.
    6. Audax: No report
    7. Publicity Officer: Nothing to report
    8. Welfare Considerations: None
  5. Any other business:
    1. Clothing: Agreed to share the designs at the BBQ & in the newsletter, and get feedback.
    2. Rider & Leader Guidance: John has shared a number of guidance papers. James to collate for publication on the website, and via the usual channels.
    3. Club Member of the Year: To be announced at BBQ. Nominations to be asked for in the newsletter.
