Minutes of Committee Meeting January 2023

  2. Review and Approve Minutes of Last Meeting
    • Proposed: Leo Seconded: Ingrid
  3. Matters/Actions Arising:
    • Draft ride leader guidance (James): Still not completed...
    • Thursday/Friday Daytime Rides: Re-discussed, and agreed to keep both advertised
    • Clothing offers: Not enough people, will re-advertise
  4. Officer's Reports:
    1. Chair: Nothing to report
    2. Secretary/IT Officer: Newsletter to be sent this evening
    3. Treasurer: Nothing to report other than the upcoming cost for subsidising the curry, as CMC will be charging £10 per head.
    4. Social Secretary:
      • Curry Night set for Saturday January 28th. Price set at £7 per person as per the last curry night. This will require a subsidy of £3 per person; max numbers are 40 so cost will be circa £120.
      • CMC couldn't confirm the go-ahead until last Friday night, hence the late notice.
      • There wasn't sufficient interest in the jersey
    5. Runs Secretary:
      • Collating runs list for February through to April
      • Aiming to be circulated w/c 23rd January 2023
    6. Audax:
      • 13th May 2023 for Cheltenham CTC Audax events - 100km, 150km & 200km events
      • Similar to previous formats, from Andoversford
      • Deposits paid
  5. Any other business:
    1. AGM:
      • Thursday 11th May at Exmouth Arms, from 7.30 for 7.45 start, finished by 9.30 (order chips for 25)
      • Advertise in next Newsletter
      • We need more committee members: Chairperson, Treasurer, Social Secretary and general members
    2. Cycle Path: Government funded cycle path from Tewkesbury to Stroud - Committee agreed it will be a good route, but there are sections that need "some thought"!
  6. Next meetings: 6th March 2023 and 24th April 2023
