Cheltenham CTC

Cheltenham CTC is made up of people of all ages and from many backgrounds, all with a common interest in cycling.

We are a not a cycle racing club, rather a social and touring club. We welcome all comers, whatever their ability. We offer the opportunity to ride in company, to enjoy some of the less well known parts of our area, and mix with a broader community with an interest in cycling and the outdoors.

Our weekly programme of rides caters for a wide range of interest and abilities. Depending on numbers, a run might consist of three or more groups according to cycling ability and/or inclination.

We are above all a social club, and we pride ourselves in taking good care of all who ride with us. Help is readily given if anyone has any mechanical problems, though you must start out on a safe roadworthy bicycle. No one is ever left behind to find their own way. Please note that riders under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Joining the Club

Cheltenham CTC is are part of Cycling UK. By Joining Cycling UK you can become a member of Cheltenham CTC.

Prior to joining, we'd recommend you come on a ride or two to see if the club is right for you. We are happy for prospective members to ride up to 3 rides with us, prior to joining. If you'd like to try out a ride or two, then check out our Rides Page. Then, get in contact through the form at the bottom, and we'll put you in touch with the ride leader to make sure you're well looked after!

Once you've joined

Once you've joined Cycling UK, let us know your Cycling UK membership number. You'll then:

• Be able to join any of our club rides
• Get invites to our regular social events
• Receive our club newsletters - these get sent out at minimum every quarter, invites to social events, upcoming special rides and other club news.
• Be able to join our WhatsApp Community and/or our Facebook Group
